A Peek Inside my Newborn Studio

Welcome to my studio! I want to feel comfortable as soon as you enter my studio. Come, sit back, relax, and watch the magic!

A newborn studio isn’t your typical studio. When you arrive it will warm and the lights will be dimmed low. This is all to insure your baby is comfortable and helps keep them sleepy. You will also hear some noises going on. I always have at least one white noise machine going at all times. It’s so relaxing, you might find yourself drifting off on the couch. Haha

As you enter the studio, you will see my white dream lighting wall. This is where some of the parent and sibling shots are taken and all of the newborn photos. See some images below.

We also have the bed set up. This is where we take more of the family photos. It’s absolutely gorgeous! It’s simple & timeless…my fav!

After you arrive you will hand baby over to me for the remainder of the session. You get to watch the show from a comfy couch. Also, in this image you can see the variety of maternity and mom dresses I offer for your session. I make it super easy for you! No need to spend hours dress shopping, I have it all for you. I carry many sizes and styles to flatter every mom to be or new mom.

Next up - PROPS!

I have so many props! Trust me when I tell you that you don’t need to bring anything to any of your sessions! I have it all! Here you can see my 3-12 month baby clothing and some of my newborn props for your session. I have wraps, fluffy rugs, beds, bowls, and so much more!

CLIENT CLOSET

Here you can see the variety of maternity and mom dresses I offer for your session. I make it super easy for you! No need to spend hours dress shopping, I have it all for you. I carry many sizes and styles to flatter every mom to be or new mom. Of course you are welcome to bring your own outfits, if you feel more comfortable.

I also provide clothing for siblings! I have many sizes for boys and girls. Worried I don’t have a size? Feel free to reach out and ask me. Chances are, I have it! Examples of baby studio outfits below.

Not pictured is a restroom stocked with all new mom essentials. The studio is very cozy and inviting for you and your newborn.

Newborn photography is truly my passion. I love what I do and never forget how lucky I am to have such an amazing job! I know how scary it can be bringing your new baby into a new place and also with a complete stranger. As a mom, I totally get it! I am very careful and take all the precautions I can. I want you to feel comfortable and never feel uneasy about your newborn session. I have photographed hundreds of newborns, so I am quite comfortable posing newborns safely.

Your baby’s safety and health is always my priority! I strive to have the cleanest, calming environment for your newborn. I sanitize anything the baby touches and wash all materials with baby detergent. My assistant and I are always up to date on our vaccinations including T-Dap and the yearly Flu shot. We take every precaution possible to make sure your baby is safe at all times. I have taken many safety classes and newborn workshops to learn the correct & safe way to pose newborns. This is so important and I can’t stress enough how vital this is when choosing a newborn photographer. My goal is to keep baby safe and clam at all times, and to get beautiful photographs for you to treasure how tiny your precious ones are for such a short time.

I always suggest expectant moms to book in their second trimeter. All newborn sessions are tentatively booked. We can always move your session date if we need to.
