Hey there!

My name is Amber Star. I am the proud mother of two beautiful daughters and a fur baby. Also…a grandma to the most adorable little boy!

I am currently residing in Conroe, TX with the love of my life, Oscar, and my fur baby, Bentley.

A born and raised Texan, a coffee addict, traveler of the world, Disney adult, a pilot in training, multi-business owner, a rescue & foster momma to all animals.

After photographing  everything from weddings to local business events, I realized I had a passion for babies. I've always worked with children in some way. Before becoming a full-time photographer, I was a Pre-K teacher here in Spring. I truly love working with children and feel like it really is my calling. 

Once I knew that newborns and young children was what I wanted to specialize in, I started taking workshops and learning the craft of Newborn Photography. I have taken several classes to make sure I can capture all those cute posed shots, and to know how to do them safely. 

I have been a part of the Old Town Spring community for many years. I am also the co-owner of Everlasting Bracelet Bar that is North Houston’s only brick-and-mortar permanent jewelry shop. The photography studio just down the street from the bracelet bar. I have a huge love for rescuing animals and I volunteer all my extra time to helping them. I am also the founder of Pet Photo Fest. It is an annual fundraising event photographing fur babies. All the proceeds go to help local rescues. I am also in the process of becoming a pilot. My few days off are spent in flying in the sky.

Photography has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember, I fell in love with capturing every memory (especially tiny humans). It’s so rewarding and I hope my love and dedication shows through in my work. Thank you to all who support and let me continue doing what I love!
